Best memory for Precision T7600
For neophytes it's really confusing, but I'd like to upgrade the memory in my old T7600. The manual mentions 32 GB LRDIMM ECC, both 1333 and 1600. Is the higher number better?
And what about 10600R versus 14900L versus 12800L?
There is a page at https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/sln153768/what-is-ddr3l-memory?lang=en that helps on a few of these points, but doesn't cover all of them.
I'm grateful for any help.

Hi @Guswah ,
Depends on what your "Best" stand for. Take a look on the following table regarding T7600 memory configuration:
NOTE:
The "32 GB LRDIMM ECC, both 1333 and 1600" mentioned on manual do not stand for maximum number of total memory in T7600. It means a kind of memory named as load-reduced memory, 32GB on a single stick, frequency at 1333MHz or 1600MHz.
But if your "Best" stand for maximum possible size of total memory at maximum possible frequency, i.e. 256GB memory at 1600MHz with dual CPU, you don't need LRDIMM.
Further to your question about those letters:
As highlighted above, T7600 require ECC Registered DIMM. And for voltage, as mentioned in the Dell document you quoted that DDR3L compatible with both 1.5V and low 1.35V, it works on T7600 as well. Reference from T7600 builds on Userbenchmark, we can find builds like this one installed with DDR3L (Samsung M393B1K70DH0-YK0) with a not bad benchmarks.

Hi @Guswah ,
Further search and found this thread regarding a member's T7600 installed with DDR3 PC3-14900L 1866Mhz RAMs. You may take it as reference and left message there to sink for more information.
If you find any reply above helps, please consider mark it as solution in order to benefit those with similar question. Thank you and good luck for your hardware upgrade project!

Well, I Googled a couple of the model #'s you gave. As for "14900L," I really don't think you want HP memory.
1600MHz RAM is faster than 1333MHz RAM.
Crucial RAM is guaranteed to work in Dell's and comes with a lifetime warranty. Kingston Value RAM (KVR) rarely works in a Dell.
Make sure the RAM is the same speed and by the same company. Issues can happen in any PC if vendors are mixed. If speeds are mixed, the system will run all the RAM at the speed of the slowest RAM.

Thanks for such a thorough reply!
Nowhere have I been able to find a mention that 1866Mhz memory is also compatible. I'm not considering this because it's a "large" number, but because it appears to be closest I could find to the 32 GB LRDIMM ECC prescribed by Dell in the manual.
Since the manufacture of the T7600 easily predates Windows 10 (and likely 1866Mhz memory modules), I wonder if someone else might have experimented as to its compatibility, and for that matter how it benchmarks.

I forgot to mention that I'm definitely not trying to max out the memory capability of the computer. But I'd be delighted if I can get 128GB per processor, compared with the current 32 per.

When I populate CPU1 RAM slots( any of them) the computer doesnt start giving error 3 and 4.
It starts normally when only the CPU0 RAM slots are populated and I can even see both the CPU's running fine.
Can anyone help with rectifying the issue?
