ML3 tape library errors

I started using an ML3 tape library a couple of months ago. About every one or two weeks I get tape errors on the library like the one below. "Tape alert flag reported by drive (DRIVE_TAPE_ALERT_FLAG)". The tape goes to a full state in the application (Commvault), only backing up a couple 100 GB instead of multiple TB. I tried Dell support and the only thing they tell me is that nothing looks wrong with the library and its the media. The media are brand new IBM brand LTO9 tapes.  I tried updating the firmware and drivers for the library. Not sure what else to do.

We having the same error with multiple tapes. A reboot fixes it shortly. Did you managed to resolve the issue?
