Add Storage to VRTX
Hi All,
Currently, our VRTX HDD slot is already full. Is there any option to expand it? We check with the local reseller, no option to expand it via Expansion with MD1200/1220.
Let's say we purchase DELL ME5024 and map it as iSCSI to our ESXi in VRTX. Possible to do that? Or is there any special step needed to configure iSCSI in VRTX

Hi, As I can see on the guide if you need more storage capacity, you can connect external storage enclosures such as the MD1200 and MD1220 Direct-Attached Storage enclosures which are listed as being supported on the VRTX page 99 https://dell.to/3pL8ssL;
But I'm not sure expand the virtual disk on a VRTX is possible. Because I found some below informations.

Our local Dell rep suggests installing an extra network card on the VRTXblade, for iSCSI connection ME5 series storage, of course, will go through a 10g switch instead of ME5 direct to connect to the chassis.
