Upgrade PowerStore OS Without active warranty

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade PowerStore OS if my storage array is out of warranty? I do not want to buy a support package nor I need or want a assistance from a 3rd party.

I see downloadable upgrade files on support page however I do not know if it's "legal" do to such upgrade. My warranty ended in middle of February, my initial plan is to upgrade to PowerStore OS version that was released last until my warranty was active.
