Hi Rajendra,
In reference to your post related to retrieving the permissions on files and folders you can use the below commands
isi auth access /ifs/data/test.txt -v
The system displays output similar to the following example:
User Name : \ UID : 2097 SID : SID:S-1-7-21-2141457107-1614332578-1691322789-1018
File Owner : user: Group : group: wheel Permissions Expected : user:
allow file_gen_read,file_gen_write,std_write_dac
Relevant Acl: group: Users allow file_gen_read user:
allow std_write_dac,file_write, append,file_write_ext_attr,file_write_attr group:wheel allow file_gen_read,file_gen_write
or
You can use the below command for expected user permissions
Example:
isi auth access rajendra /ifs
The system displays output similar to the following example:
User
Name :rajendra
UID : 2018 SID : SID:S-1-5-21-2141457107-1514332578-1691322784-1018
File
Owner : user: rajendra
Group : group: wheel
Mode : drwxrwxrwx
Relevant Mode : d---rwx---
Permissions
Expected : user :rajendra \
allow dir_gen_read,dir_gen_write,dir_gen_execute,delete_child
You could also view the ACL of a file in OneFS, run the command ls –le or ls –len. To view the ACL of a directory in OneFS, run the command ls –led or ls –lend. The –n option in the command is used to display user and
group IDs numerically rather than converting to a user or group name string.
Hope the above commands help you.
Thanks and Regards,
Mohammed Iqubal
