Troubles iinstalling PP 5.01 on a OpenVZ RHEL 5 kernel

Hi everybody,
we are trying to install PP 5.0.1 on a OpenVZ RHEL 5.0 kernel, and we are getting some troubles.
Installations seemed ok but when we try to start it, it failed because expects a kernel name finished "*el5" and ours is "2.6.18-8.1.4.el5.028stab035.1" (because it is OpenVZ patched).
We modified "enable" script to avoid this check, but we got errors latter because system could not load necessary modules:

# /etc/init.d/PowerPath start
Starting PowerPath: PowerPath driver version magic mismatch
failed

Any ideas.
Thanks a lot.

After making some more tests, I think the problem is that I am using a kernel newer that PowerPath 5.0.1 supports; I get this message on "dmesg"

emcplib: disagrees about version of symbol struct_module

So, I'm going to try with an older version, hopping that a newer version of PP will come in short and it will be able to work with newer kernel versions.

Does anyone know if there is any kind of prediction on this?
Regards.
