Power Path 5.5 dropping disk

Is anyone seeing issues with Power Path 5.5  when rescaning on disks on Win 2008 R2 or Win 2003R2 X64 drop all the disk in power path then they come back active with no drive visable.  Disk manager sees the drive as partitions no drive letters.

We need more information concerning this issue.

1) what EMC storage are the hosts attaching to

2) are the hosts clustered

3) are the hosts native Windows or clients in a VM like VMWare or Hyper-V

4) If attaching to a DMX/VMax are the following FA flags set - OS2007, SCSI3, SPC2, C

5) If attaching to a DMX/VMax and clustered is the Persistent reservation (PER) flag set on all the devices

6) If attaching to Clariion - what model of Clariion and what version of Flare code

7) If attaching to Clariion - what is failovermode set to.

8) is this Fibre Channel or iSCSI.

The issue had to do with an older version of code on the DMX-3000. After upgrading to the DMX code all ofthe powerpath issues were resolved.
