SSD good for video surveillance on PowerMax 8000

Hi,

I have a a PowerMax 8K in my environment and would like to migrate some of the video surveillance. Would like to know are SSD good to handle video surveillance as there will be high reads and writes. If yes, please support with some white papers or use cases so I can present the same to management.
