Powermax,Unisphere connecting to SCG

Ok a couple of weeks ago I setup SCG and policy manager. I added our new powermax to the SCG. In SCG it showed up as Unishpere for Powermax or VMAX ( i can't remember). I opened a ticket with dell support and asked them to confirm it looks good. they said yes and I closed teh ticket. Now i need the latest code update to fix the vmotion storage problem with the powermax and when i try to schedule it they say my scg is not connected correctly. i opened a ticket for it to be connected. the engineer kept asking me for the serial number. i gave him teh serial number and he kept saying no this is not it. and id ask him where to get it but he wouldnt answer this question. I eventually had it requed. The new technician first unregistered it from the scg using unisphere and reregistered. that did not change anything. Then he deleted it from scg and now when we try to unregister from unisphere for powermax, we get the error below.They must have done something to add it from there side because the two entries below showed up now saying Powermax instead of unisphere. The engineer wants to ssh to the powermax. this is embedded unishpere and i tried from an ip on the same subnet that has no firewall, and ssh port 22 doesnt respond. He is also saying port 9443 on the powermax must be enabled and thats why its failing. I think he means that a firewall is blocking this port on the powermax. I have asked him to clarify this but he just says i must check with my network team. there is nothing blocking the powermax from teh scg so that can't be it. and i confirmed this with my network team.
