Force rebuild?

Hi, community!

After adding a new server to the cluster, rebuild/rebalance procces not started after 1 hours..

How to force start rebuild process?

I need to disable one of the nodes (host01), but does not do I lose my data?

Hi amama,

In most cases the rebalance doesn't start when your Critical Capacity Threshold is reached (or exceeded) - can you please check if that's the case here?

What if there is no capacity issue?  Is there a way to force rebalance?

Hi John,

You can try to switch the MDM ownership - it quite often works for stuck rebuilds, so might work for rebalance as well - but capacity over threshold is what we are seeing here at most cases.
