sensor error

I have two servers that came up with error.  One say redundancy lost on the power unit and the other indicate CPU 1 and 2 were missing (error E0780).  Both have the latest drivers and firmware installed.  I check on both servers and they were fine. To get rid of both errors I rebooted the machine and delete the log file under system management.  I called Dell and they say that they do not know why I am getting these errors.  The only thing that Dell can tell me is that if you are running ERA 1.22 or below, you will get these false errors but I told them that the two servers are on the latest firmware and drivers.  Did anyone ever run into this problem?  If they did what was the cause of the problem?

Thanks

What version of OpenManager Server Administrator are you running? If you are running version 1.3 or older, I would recommend uninstalling the older version and installing the latest version.

Also, I would recommend flashing ESM and BIOS to their latest.

If all ESM firmware is updated and you are sure, then clear ESM logs from OpenManage Server Administrator. Then drain the flea power from the system as described through the procedure below:

  1. Turn off the server.
  2. Remove the AC power cords from the back of the server.
  3. Press the power button for 5 seconds to relieve flea power.
NOTE:  Wait 30 seconds before returning the power cords to the server.
  4. Re-attach the AC power cords.
  5. Turn on the server.
