Install linux on R220 w/3TB drive
HI,
I want to install CentOS 7 onto my R220 with a 3TB drive. What do I have to do to get CentOS to recognize the "large" drive? Aimlessly googling turns up words like UEFI, PERC, and Life Cycle.
I do not want or need the R220 performing RAID. I just want to install CentOS to recognize my solitary 3TB drive.

You need to set the Boot Mode to UEFI and your disk must be converted to GPT before installing.
