How can I disable hyperthreading from within Windows 2012R2 on a R610?

Hello

I've got an R610 in a datacentre. I want to disable hyperthreading but I only have an iDrac 6 express.

I didn't realise that there was an "express" version of the idrac 6 before I sent the server off!

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

dan

I actually found the answer before the moderator had posted the question!

Go to Dell Openmanage server administrator

click on Main System Chassis, then BIOS, then Setup (in the right hand pane)

Find the entry for "Processor logical processor (hyperthreading)" and click the item's status to change it!

Upgrading to the enterprise version of the iDrac isn't really an option since the server is in a datacenter the other side of the world!

No Events found!
