Raid Configuration help
I have a PE2950 with the perc6i card.
I am using this server as a home lab setup and don't have the resources to fully load this machine with proper drives. I currently have 2x 1 TB drives and 1x 2TB drive. I am wanting to keep a 2TB sized repository of personal files and would like to have the files mirrored onto another 2TB disk. Can I combine the 2x 1TB drives into a 2tb virtual disk and have the 2TB physical drive mirror itself over to the combined 2x 1TB spanned set?
Smiler to raid 0+1 but with 3 drives.
Below is my desired configuration.

No, the PERC cannot do this; there is no valid RAID configuration that matches what you are trying to do. If you want to do this, then you must use third-party software to sync the contents of one Virtual Disk (VD) to another (backup software, if that is your intent).
