Disk continue to fail even after replacing on PERC H730 Mini

We had a 2tb disk (MG03SCA200) showing as failed on our poweredge r740xd so replacement disk sent by 3rd party (WD2000FYYG) was swapped over but failed again. They have requested logs, can see no other issue but we have tried a further two drives they have sent and they both fail approx 2 hours after swapping over with Fault detected on drive 3 in disk drive bay 1

Looking at the Alert log the drives trys to start a rebuild but then there are a lot of these errors before it fails again Unexpected sense. SCSI sense data: Sense key: B Sense code: 0 Sense qualifier: 0: Physical Disk 0:1:3 Controller 0, Connector 0

Any ideas on how to resolve?

Hello friend,

can’t see the details of original part but the replcement part you are using is YY34F and I believe what you required is 829T8 and these are the alternate parts below:-

Alternative Dell Part Number(s):R755K, 0R755K, WDC07, 0WDC07, 1P7DP, 01P7DP, 67TMT, 067TMT
