Dell PowerEdge T320/420 tower server : PCIe Training Error (Slot 6)

Hi , On system start the boot up is halted due to below error, after which the system keeps restarting and resulting in same issue. The PCIe slot possibly has 03POR3 Raid controller which seems to be causing the issue. Looking for guidance on possible solutions for the issue or debug process.

To confirm whether this card creating the issue, you can remove the card and try to boot the server. If it is booting you can insert another card on this slot and try whether server is booting. If server is booting in both cases then controller card is gone bad and need to be replaced.

Thanks for the details. As PCIe Training error is not shown after removing the controller it will be a controller gone bad. Can you replace the controller and check the behaviour?

Hi De=ELL-Shin K

Thanks for the update. Can you please share the specification/quote for the raid controller. Its a  03POR3 Raid controller.
