Dell edge t130

We have the virtual hard disk #2, is failed. Is something critical? Is one of the hard drives bad?

If the hard drive is bad, could you please send us the manual on how to replace the bad hard drive without losing the data?

Hello, yes your HDD is failed. You can follow up this procedure PowerEdge HDD: How to physically replace an HDD (Hot Swap procedure) ? | Dell US

It is recommended to back up your data before proceeding with the replacement process

  1. Pre-Removal Instructions:

    • Remove the Front Bezel if installed.
    • From the management software, prepare the hard drive for removal.
    • Wait until the indicators on the hard-drive carrier signal that the hard drive can be removed safely.
  2. Physical Drive Disassembly:

    • Press the release button to open the hard-drive carrier release handle.
    • Slide the hard-drive carrier out until it is free of the hard-drive slot.
    • Remove the screws from the slide rails on the hard drive carrier.
    • Lift the hard drive out of the hard drive carrier.
  3. Physical Drive Reassembly:

    • Insert the replacement hard drive into the hard drive carrier with the connector end toward the back.
    • Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the set of screw holes on the hard drive carrier.
    • Attach the screws to secure the hard drive.
    • Insert the hard drive carrier back into the hard drive slot until it clicks into place.
    • Close the hard drive carrier handle to lock the hard drive in place.

Hope that helps!
