We have a R6525 servers built with the Riser Config 1, 1 x 16 Gen4 FH PCIe slot, are we able to add Riser 2/2a to this build ? We have a single CPU configuration and my understanding is that we can added Riser 2 and then use slot 1 for the single CPU so a single CPU can support 2x NICs?

From what I see it should be supported as long as you remain on slot 1 of riser2a, and not slot 2 as that is tied to CPU2, as seen below.
