R420 F/W in fault state - MFI Register State 0xF0FF2102
This server when into the F/W in fault state as shown in picture below. I've went through the process of reseating cables and card. I did find a replacement controller and before I try that was wondering if by installing an different controller is that going to wipe the drives? They were initially configured in a RAID 10 config.

May have found my answer in this post: https://www.dell.com/community/PowerEdge-HDD-SCSI-RAID/Replacing-a-PERC-H710-without-resetting-the-array/m-p/5088998/thread-id/45433/highlight/true
I'll be proceeding with that information in hand.

I did put in a new controller and in this case nothing had to be done. System booted up normally without any intervention from me and data was intact.

I am having this exact problem with an LSI 9271-8i on a poweredge T420. How did you fix it?
