Poweredge R410 PWR_BTN Jump to turn on motherboard without front panel?

Hello, I have a Poweredge r410 motherboard by itself.
Plan to use it with the 480W Non-redundant power supply and 2 x Xeon 5650 and 32GB of ecc RAM
However, I don't want to buy the front panel.
Seems there is a PWR_BTN with a switch symbol and 2 connections so in theory, I should be able to solder a power button or just bridge the connection to turn on without the front panel as any other motherboard would do?
Dell is notorious for proprietary stuff so wondering if this will work.
I dont have the PSU yet which is why i am asking. In theory, this should work just fine.
