IDRAC 8 SNMP V3 configuration.
Hello, Looking for some assistance configuring IDRAC 8's for SNMP V3. Our Idrac 8's are being flagged for security for passing SNMP traffic in plain text. We have configured our Idrac 9's for snmpv3 with the authentication and privacy passcodes by scripting racadm commands but cannot find the racadm commands or the gui pages to set up these passcodes. Can the IDrac 8's be configured with these passcodes?

Hello thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
You can use in your SNMP v3 monitoring tool user password for the passphrase, iDRAC 8 does not have same functionality as iDRAC9.
this (attached by me) is what you want to see for iDRAC 8, but it will not happen. iDRAC8 is EOL, no new updates, I'm afraid.
