disable CPU on PowerEdge R740
Hello,
Due to licensing issues, I need to disable 1 CPU on our R740 Server, but unfortunately I can't find how to do this.
Can someone explain me please how to disable 1 CPU on this server?

I do not believe there is an option available to connect the CPU and disable it. there are option available to disable logical processor and number of cores in each processor. You can refer below link for those configurations

If you do not need second CPU, you need to remove it. While removing CPU2 you need to remove memory and PCIe cards which is associated with CPU2.
