DellT430 not detecting Sata Hdds connected to the empty backplate (SAS)

I just got a Dell T430 And I would like to use normal SATA drives into the disk bays as individual drives (non-RAID)

but when I connect them they are not detected by the OS (Windows Server 2022). I also do not see them in the Bios/not detected.

What am I doing wrong?

What shall I do for it to be detected and work as individual drives?

Hello,

First I would note that Dell did not validate or support WS2022 on the T430.

Your PowerEdge T430 supports these operating systems:

Latest Windows OS support: WS2019

Making sure it works on WS2022 would be up to you as we do not have drivers for the T430 with WS2022 installed.

What controller do you have?

Do you have Hot swap or cabled hard drives?

If you have hot swap drives then make sure the drives are in the correct screw holes on the drive carrier.

@DELL-Charles R Issue was solved already, it was an option on the bios.

Thank you for your reply
