Dell PowerEdge T110 Add On Video Graphics Cards That Work
This discussion is about add-on video graphics cards that work with Dell PowerEdge T110 (plain T110, not the T110 II).
An ASUS EAH5450 SILENT/DI/1GD3(LP) video card was recently installed in a PowerEdge T110 with the following specifications:
CPU: Intel Xeon X3430 @ 2.4GHz
RAM: 4GB
RAID CONTROLLER: Dell PERC 6i/R SAS
One downside of this card is it only has 1GB of DDR3 RAM.
The next post will cover a VisionTek 900356 with 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
The following steps were performed to enable the ASUS EAH5450 graphics card
1. Power off and unplug computer
2. Insert ASUS EAH5450 into PCIe x16 slot
3. Leave video cable connected to onboard VGA connector
4. Power on computer
5. Enter BIOS and change
"Integrated Devices > Embedded Video Controller" from "Enabled" to "Disabled"
6. Reboot computer
7. Move video cable from onboard VGA connector to ASUS EAH5450 connector
Below are photos of the ASUS EAH5450
Text written on the card:
EAH5450 043576-01138 YV00J2-S32 326106
EAH5450 SILENT/DI/1GD3(LP)

Hi,
I understand you wrote this card works with the T110, but not the T110 II. Is there a reason why? I tried this video card on the T110 II and while plugged in my onboard video controller doesn't send a signal to my monitor.
Thanks,

You should upgrade your BIOS - search google. Then most of your problems will gone.
If I could recommend a working video card for Dell T110
Nvidia GT730 1GB DDR5

There is no matter chipset but power consumtion.
Ok here example chipset: MSI GeForce ® GT 730 1GB
Yep.. Will work on Dell t110 v1 and Dell t110 v2
GT730 gives you feel you need for your T110 I and T110 II

on T110 II with last bios I try without success
PNY GeForce GT710 2GB (GF710GTLH2GEPB)
Asus Geforce 210 Silent - 1 Gb Gddr3 - Pci-Express 2.0 (En210 Silent/Di/1Gd3/V2(Lp))
Zotac VGA GeForce GT 710 Scheda Grafica da 2GB, Nero
success with an old Asus Geforce 210 512MB and geforce 9700 128mb so just the chipset is not enough

I tried several graphics cards, including the MAXSUNHammer II R5 230 1G, a newly purchased graphics card that turned on to show an underscore in the upper left corner and could not be used.
GALAXY GT610 VC version, the upper left corner of this boot with nail-sized color block, can not use,
upgrade gainward Zhao Yun version GT650ti this need independent power supply, after changing power into the system. After installing the latest NV driver, reboot, after the win10 turn, the system reboots again, it feels like a driver problem.
The gainward Zhao Yun GT220 512M is now used. This does not need independent power supply and is normally used.
