Dell Poweredge Rackmount Console 15FP - Rail Issues? Help! Am I missing a piece?

They look like the correct rails, in the bottom photo the top rail is for the right side and the silver hook clips in the front posts of the rack. then extend the rails fully and slide the screen in until it locks and stops, then click the release tabs and it should slide all the way back.

Yeah, that's what it looked like to me.. However they simply will not slide into the rails. I guess they are just all bent up.. I'm going to take a closer look at them today with a known good set of rails and see what's damaged.

If the kvm tray sildes into the rails but you cant close it, sometimes the rail release mechanism at the rear of the rails locks up stopping them sliding back. It like a rocker type lever.

No, it won't slide into the rails..  The KMM won't slide into the rails that mount in the rack. :(

One last thing I notice is that the rails on the KMM itself are Accuride, the rails that go in the rack are made by Qualslide or Qualride (I cannot remember the name offhand).

Is this normal?  It it possible they are just the wrong rails?  Maybe for another unit?  Do the 17" and 15" share rails?

Has anyone had issues mounting the KMM into the rails before?  They don't look bent or anything looking at them more.  I haven't been able to get my hands on a good set yet so I cannot compare them.

Exactly.. The rails on the KMM do not slide into the rails in the rack.  I tried them every which way on a test bench (with both sets of rails) that i have pictured.  They aren't even close to matching up and sliding on.

I was curious if anyone could take a look at their rails and see what the rails say on the inside of the track.  As I said on the KMM itself, the rail says Accuride.  On the rail itself that mounts in the rack it says Qualslide.  Are they really different manufacturers??

Also - does anyone have the CN part number (it's on a sticker on the outside of the rail) for their rails?

how about installing wrong rails like the rail supposed to be in right but it installed in left side?
the lock is in inner so I can't remove the rail,
can you suggest what to do?

I'm unable to understand your issue situation. 

What is the Dell rail kit system name? Rapid rail?

If the rail have been mistakenly installed, the right sliding rail to the left side of the rack, the locking mechanism would still be in the front side. But if the lock is facing backward of the rack, perhaps you will need to remove the rear rack door to access to the lock mechanism. 

If I'm assuming wrong, it would be great to provide us some picture for better understanding.
