PPDM: SPIF fault after restore VM
Hi,
We are new to PPDM and therefore we did a test of restoring a complete VM.
Restore succeeded but in vcenter we see on that VM:
"SPIF filters change failure" Not enough resources. Failed to attach IO Filter vmwarelwd. Not enough resources."
Any idea what this is and what causes this or how to solve?

Hi @Skor56 ,
Just to confirm does the restored VM boot up? What is the VM a normal host or an appliance? Does your test environment have enough resources to host the recovered VM ?

Hi,
It is too long ago and in the meantime we are facing soo many backup issues that we don’t know or test restores.
For every moment in time we have several open SR`s with DELL we cannot follow anymore and considering to stop with PPDM. It is simply not mature nor ready to be used in production enviroments.
