Will a 9020sff Motherboard handle a 1050ti drawing 75W
I Plan to upgrade to a 300W SFF psu and use a 24pin to 8pin adapter so the pc will handle a 1050ti @75W. Can the motherboard Handle this power draw?

Optiplex 9020 SFF + GTX 1050 ti + YouTube List
You'll see in the videos that the GTX 1050 ti runs on the stock PSU. And yes, the MB can handle it. Over 75w would require separate connection.
I take it the 300w PSU is a non-Dell brand. It's not just about a wattage total. Make sure the new PSU has the same amount, if not better, on the 12v, 5v, and 3.3v rails. A 500w PSU can easily cut corners compared to a Dell PSU and have less power on the 5v/3.3v rails than a Dell 305w PSU.
A better PSU upgrade is the 315w for the Optiplex XE2 SFF. Then, you wouldn't even need the adapter.
Last week, I helped somebody that bought a 750w Enermax PSU for their Precision. While it sounded it should've worked on the surface, it didn't work due to lower power on the 5v/3.3v rails. Enermax isn't on the recommendation list.

depending on the slot and the card it may not fit in the case.
pci-e riser cables let you use a narrow slot.

You mention a dell 305W power supply, i had a look around and couldn't see any for the small form factor. Could you possibly link me to the one you're talking about? Thanks. Very helpful reply too.
Edit: I found it

As for the GTX 1050 ti, be sure to get the LP (low profile) version. Just making sure all the bases are covered.

By any chance did you mean the 315w PSU that's for the XE2 SFF? That one will fit. It's easily findable on ebay, Amazon, newegg, etc. A 500w PSU not being as good as a Dell 305w PSU was a general statement. A 305w box shaped PSU will not fit in an SFF.
On those websites, if it says "For Dell," it might not be a Dell as compared to just saying "Dell" as in the brand name.
