VGA Upgrade
OptiPlex Tower 7010
Hi,
Have OptiPlex 7010 MT, with PSU 180 W (Photo attached).
I want to upgrade the VGA, but I'm concerned if the PSU is enough to run VGA.
I've found a topic with a similar problem but a different OptiPlex model with PSU 275 W.
Can I upgrade the VGA with GTX 1050 ti (or some other VGA) without changing the PSU?
I will use my PC mostly for work, but I occasionally want to play some basic games, like PES 2019

Unfortunately, no. Suggested power supply for GTX 1050 Ti is 250w. Can not run a 75w graphics card without changing out the 180w power supply.

@Chino de Oro Is there any VGA that will work on 180 W?

PES 2019
minimal vs recommended system spec
it is recommended you get a video card (not VGA) that has 4GB VRAM
your pc cpu is much better than the recommended
since you have the 180W psu, you have the Dell Tower 7010 (not the tower plus)
https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/en-hk/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/technical-support/optiplex-tower-spec-sheet.pdf
these are the Dell gpu for 7010
Intel® UHD Graphics 710 with Celeron® and Pentium® Gold
Intel® UHD Graphics 730 with 13th Generation Intel® Core™ i5
AMD RadeonTM RX6300, 2 GB, GDDR6
AMD RadeonTM RX6500, 4 GB, GDDR6
you can use the RX6500 which has 4GB GDDR6, or RX 550 4GB GDDR5
but you may still need to upgrade the psu to Dell 300w.

basic psu calculator estimates that any i5 13th gen cpu needs a 300w psu in the ball park.
if you have i3-12100, you may be ok with the 180w psu. that is before we talk about any discrete gpu.
question is what is your cpu now?

Without power supply upgrade, you can add a Quadro T400. It's a 30w video card that can perform 3 times better than an integrated video.
The i5-13500 uses up to 154w in turbo mode. No suggestion for add-on video card with 180w power supply.

I am surprised they/Dell configured this cpu for you with a 180W psu.
either the basic psu calculator is wrong or Dell does not know what they are doing.

"CPU: Intel Core i5-3470
RAM: 4 GB
VIDEO CARD: 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2 GB
PIXEL SHADER: 5.0
VERTEX SHADER: 5.0
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
RAM: 8 GB
VIDEO CARD: 4 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 4 GB"
Not sure if you noticed, but the CPU's listed are for the previous 7010. Easy mix up.

@danijels
Here's the graphics you already have:
You sure you want to upgrade since we're talking about VGA? Particular apps and/or screen you want it for? Then we might be able to help you better.
It's been rumored that Dell sometimes understates their PSU's, but we can't chance that. Almost any card is going to require a PSU upgrade, notably with the i5-13500.
Good catch by Chino by the way with catching the i5-13500's turbo wattage.

Another Rockstar pointed out that there may be some confusion in this thread.
In your first post, you mentioned upgrading VGA. (Had me a little confused.) Yet, the new 7010's don't have VGA. VGA is a type of monitor connection.
GPU = Graphics Processing Unit

Your system was shipped with bare minimum power supply and it can not support any expansion. To add a discrete graphics, Dell has validated AMD Radeon RX 6300 or AMD Radeon RX 6500 to be shipped with power supply option 300w 80 Plus Platinum.
See system specs here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/optiplex-7010-desktop/opti_tower_7010_om/power-ratings?guid=guid-b6989293-f843-4875-9ff0-2d62efcae33e&lang=en-us
