Crucial specializes in RAM and SSD's. I have their standard BXT series, 128GB, and it works great. I use a Western Digital Caviar Blue HDD for storage, mainly music.
It's up to you what size SSD you want and so on. Check out crucial.com.

All SSD's are essentially the same. 2.5 inch
there are no restrictions. I however recommend Samsung.
512 gig is very reasonable.

Crucial has had a high failure rate

OCZ's failure rate was so high they went out of business.

Hi @speedstep,
That was unexpected since Crucial RAM is regularly recommended by Rockstars in this forum.
Well, my BX (accidentally typed "BXT" before) hasn't failed yet. I think it has a 3-year warranty.

Micron Technology, Inc. is an American producer of computer memory and computer data storage including dynamic random-access memory, flash memory, and USB flash drives. It is headquartered in Boise, Idaho. Its consumer products are marketed under the brands Crucial and Ballistix. They have been around for many decades (1978) BEFORE Dell or SSD's existed. Ram was the market for micron decades BEFORE SSD and flash. Crucial has been a Dell partner for many years.
OCZ made a 1TB ssd in 2009.
They went out of business due to longevity issues.
Samsung started making SSD's commercially in 2005.
Micron acquired the assets of an SSD software company Virtensys in 2012.
Crucial is definitely a new manufacturer in the SSD market starting around 2012 with the M4 SSD.

If you already have a crucial ssd a firmware update may be in order.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I had to get one sorted quickly so went for the Crucial MX500 1TB.
it came with a 5 year warranty and I have a western digital blue linked to backup. The last one I had failed but was an unknown brand. It seems super fast at the moment!
