power cable for adding second hard drive
OptiPlex 7050
I am trying to add another 2.5 HDD however I am confused with power cable. I don't seem to find option for power cable. I see there is a slot open for SATA cable.
what is the recommended approach here for adding second HDD? Pls advise.

If you do not see an extra SATA power cable connection from the PSU or MB then you could always purchase a splitter as shown here at Amazon.

the most basic dell oem sata power cable for sff (short cable w one standard sata + one slim sata) looks like this HG2F3
what you can get is a short Dell oem sata power splitter like JOcean suggested

This is the motherboard layout
OptiPlex 7050 Small Form Factor Owner's Manual | Dell Canada
Can I use SATA 1 connector (item: 18) along with one of the cables suggested by JOcean

#18 is not recommended for ssd. #18 white sata is low speed sata port for optical drive. Try to use blue and black SATA ports #12/13. But if you are using hdd, does not matter because it is slow.

I tried the cables as suggested by JOcean however I couldn't find mounting screws that can secure my HDD (2.5) into the caddy. Are there any recommendations for the screws?
