motherboard

Hello, I wanted to know if the motherboard of this computer fits in another ATX gamer case?

Very unlikely.  Anything Dell will have some kind of proprietorship and non-ATX standard.

if Optiplex 390/790, 7010. 3020/7020/9020 or the like, yes you can bc the board is mATX.

if Optiplex 780 or below. no because those are BTX

if Optiplex 7040 or above, no bc reason given by chino.

no 380 is just entry level model of 780 series.  BTX mobo which does not fit ATX case.  you have a 380DT.

you could move it o a 380 or 780 tower case if you just want to install FH video card and add some fans.

you could also try to move it to other old Dell BTX case if you have one, such as XPS 410, 400, 420, or even XPS 700/710/720 case.  All those models have BTX tower cases.  you would need to rewire front panel pwr sw.

@kauafs - You mentioned "ATX gamer case."  In which case, I highly suggest something newer for a PC and get one that's a full-size mini tower.  It's obvious you want to do some gaming.

One can also check out YouTube videos and see if anyone turned their Optiplex 380 DT into a gaming machine, but I don't think you'll find much due to size and PSU limitations.  Up to you.
