Looking for a video card (O3080 SFF)

I'm looking for a video card that can drive 2 - 4k monitors over HDMI - that fits in that strange smaller PCI-E slot in an Optiplex 3080 Small Form Factor (I thought it was "mini") - or adaptable (easily change the metal plate on the card, but it must come with one)

Edit: I can do 1 HDMI (But must be 2.0) and 1 DP too.

I don't know much about video cards.  I'm not doing gaming, I just like the high resolution.

Your system already have both of DisplayPort #4 and HDMI port #2 connections for video out.  However, the onboard HDMI is 1.4b port.  By referring to a strange, smaller PCIe slot for video, are you talking about the optional HDMI 2.0 video add-on port?  See the diagram below for installation instructions and check out this HDMI daughterboard for add-on.

Yes, you can contact Dell Spare Parts or chat with Dell Sales to inquire about the availability (since this is for a 5 years old model).  Also, there are other third party vendors with new and used Dell add-on parts.  Here is an example of a vendor with HDMI 2.0 I/O port.

From the Optiplex 3080 Spec Sheet:

Probably not much.  Here's more options to look into:

Quadro's P400, 600, & 1000

Edited from PC Parts Bin:

Direct X 12 GPU's for modern rendering:GT 1030 GDDR5

RX 550

RX 6400

Direct X GPU's for previous decade rendering:

AMD R7 200 series (previous and branded from the ATI HD series graphics cards) Important - Check wattages.

GT 710, 720, & 730

55w GTX 750

I mention the GTX 750 is 55w because it might be a stretch for a 180w PSU.

The Quadro's have mini-DP's, so an adapter is needed to translate it to normal size DP.

Google the resolution your CPU has.  May be it can already drive two 4k monitors.

@Chino de Oro oh, I'd forgotten about the option video port.  That wasn't the one I was talking about though.  Most PCI cards are about 7 or 8 inches tall, but the ones in the Optiplexes are only 4-5 inches tall.

But the option video port will certainly work.  I really just want to run two 4k displays that have DP and HDMI 2.  The onboard DP will certainly work, but the onboard HDMI will not work because it's 1.4b.  However if I got an option video port (and I AM capable of installing those) that is either Display Port or HDMI 2.0, that should be fine too.  I'm going to choose Display Port because it's a little bit better.

Know where I can get an option video that is Display Port?

I might have to order it from Dell.  If yes, do I need the part number?  I don't know how to order Dell parts.

thanks

I ended up getting that HDMI 2.0 daughtercard and adding it to my 3080 micro, so that I can use both 4k monitors, in 4k resolution (3840x2160) since the onboard HDMI is only 1.4.  I had to replace that with a 2.0 source, and also use a higher quality HDMI cable, and then the onboard Display Port video is just fine as is.  Everything works perfectly.  I'm very happy with the way this turned out.

BTW, the HDMI 2.0 daughter card is part number HXPK2.  It didn't explicitly say compatible with this model, but it mentioned other 30*0 models, so I took an educated guess that it would work here too, and that paid off.
