I’m having issues with sceptre curved monitors after upgrading to windows 11
Hello. I recently upgraded my dell optiplex 7050 to windows 11 (yes, I am already aware that this computer doesn’t support windows 11 due to having a 6th generation i7 processor) and I am experiencing issues with my monitors. They are not detecting any input from my computer. I’ve tried everything from checking the cables, updating drivers, and making sure that the ports are all the way plugged in on both ends. Please help

Have you tried a clean install of Windows 11. Also it may be a resolution setting in the PC. You could also try a safe mode in order to see if the monitor responds. Assuming all was well in Windows 10 it must be a Windows 11 specific problem (sorry to overstate the obvious). Also try another monitor or another video cable.

This has nothing to do with the monitors. Either you computer isn't actually booting into windows after the upgrade, so you are getting a black screen that you assume is no video ... or there is some graphics driver issue with windows 11 so there is no output from the computer. Either way, not a monitor issue.
Google for how to boot into safe mode on Windows 11, and you should have video, and then you can work on fixing it.

@5jays thank you, I appreciate it. I was thinking the same thing too, just wanted to make sure that I’m doing it the right way

@JOcean And yes, I did indeed do a clean install because I deleted all of the partitions for windows 10. Since I have both an SSD and HDD hooked up to my computer, I chose the SSD for faster boot times.

@Ifethetechnerd Happy it all worked out and yes the SSD is about 5x faster than an HDD assuming you have a SATA SSD. The M.2 PCIe SSD are even much faster yet.

@JOcean Oh, and also I may try this on my TV. I already downloaded the appropriate drivers for my computer (I downloaded the drivers from intel and Dell since this computer has an intel chipset and the OEM is Dell, I downloaded the Wi-Fi card driver) and I transferred the driver installation files to a flash drive. I really appreciate the help though!
