How to activate a clean install of Windows 10 on a 7020 MT?
OptiPlex 7020 Tower (End of Life)
I need help activating a Windows 10 clean installation on my old OptiPlex 7020 MT.
What have I done so far?
1. On a "new" clean SSD I installed Windows 10 from a bootable USB key I made from Microsoft media creation tool or Rufus (I forget which). The ISO supposed contains multiple versions of Windows (e.g., Home and Pro). When performing the install it didn't ask me which version I wanted it just automatically installed Pro.
2. I did all the updates and Windows seems to work well. The problem is the license is not activated.
3. I can't find a printed label with the activation key anywhere.
Is there anything I can do to activate the Windows I installed or do I have to start from the beginning with some software from Dell?

you need to purchase a retail license to activate Win 10 if the pc did not come from Dell with an oem license of Win 10 (chances are not).

@redxps630 I bought the OptiPlex 7020 from Dell but it came with an earlier version of Windows (probably 7, I don't remember).
