Hard Drive Caddy Optiplex 9010 SFF

Where does Dell keep all their Secret Parts Numbers?  I wanted to price a Caddy for this pc but cannot find the Part Number...as usual.  Of course I can find some online but want to be sure because as you know it is no fun returning stuff, for either party.

I also can't seem to tell if the Caddy is capable of both 3.5 and 2.5, but I think it is.  And if using 2.5 can Two 2.5 Drives be used at once in the same Caddy?

Also wondering if I can just use a 2.5 SSD Caddy I already have?

Thanks

There are several sizes INCUDING MICRO which is smaller than sff.

The R494D caddy will hold 2 drives of 2.5 inches.  HOWEVER that caddy is designed to sit inside the 3.5 inch bay. There ARE NOT 2X sata power connections however. The 3.5 caddy does NOT HOLD BOTH at the same time its one or the other.

I'm a little confused speestep, there is only one available?  You provided one part number to what appears to be the dual 2.5 inch, which is fine and probably what I will get, even though I only have one SATA Connection is fine.  But I don't see the HDD 3.5 there anywhere?  Where do I find these Official Part numbers for Dell Optiplex, or is there no official documentation?

I looked at some of those 3.5" caddy's but they don't say 9010 SFF anywhere?

Finally, what is your advice to use 2.5 or 3.5" drive?  I wonder which drive will produce more heat, I assume the 3.5, and any other Pro's or Con's to both.  I like to keep the heat down in my small space, the a/c here is not good.

Thanks!

The 3.5 caddy is shown in the video.

The R494D fits INSIDE the 3.5 caddy like a matRuska doll.

There is not room for 2X 3.5 drives and there are not 2 hard drive power connections.

The smaller units tend to not have the part number on the blue caddy.

Adding the 2.5 drive means you need a SATA Power split, Sata data cable,  and the 3.5 caddy.

I think it will be cheaper to just get the 3.5" caddy, so which one is it, this one?
