dell optiplex 380 graphics card
Hi,
I have a dell optiplex 380 and would like to change the graphics card to a gtx 750ti 2gb but what power supply does it need? This is the inside.

...just for future reference: MSI GAMING GeForce GT 710 1GB GDRR3 64-bit HDCP Support DirectX 12 OpenGL 4.5 Heat Sink Low Profile Graphics Card (GT 710 1GD3H LP) works fine on my desktop with stock 255W PSU!

The 30w GT 1030 can be a good all around GPU, notably in some older PC's and PC's that can only power up to 75w cards or less. The GT 1030 works in the MT, DT, & SFF models of the 380.

It doesn't - if you're referring to the GT 1030. Many new cards have come out since the 380 was made.
If you're referring to GPU wattages, well, it suggests a couple of GPU's starting on page 25. But they are what the whole range can take - MT, DT, SFF. It doesn't list what the 3 sizes can take separately.

You have a 380 SFF. You need to get a low profile short bracket single slot width PCIe card to fit the sff case. Problem is most or all 750ti low profile has double slot width or thick cooler. Unless your video card is thin (single slot width and thin cooler, like the Dell oem card shown in photo), you would not be able to install it along the hdd cage right next to pciex16 slot. The only way to get around this is to remove the hdd cage and custom install a small ssd. You still have to connect the small hdd fan to motherboard, otherwise you would get a bios startup error that hdd fan has failed.
