Dell optiplex 3010 i5 2400

Hi I was wondering if a asus strix rx 570 4gb would fit in the dell optiplex 3010 because i dont know if there is something that is blocking the way of putting in the gpu.

It'll only fit the tower model - not the desktop or small form factor units -- and even then, the card requires a 400W power supply, which is far above what the OptiPlex has.

This card is overkill for that system anyway.

Indeed, the RX 570 requires a 450w PSU.

According to PC Builds:

Graphic card and processor will work great together:

Intel Core i5-2400 (Clock speed at 100%) with AMD Radeon RX 570 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 7.37% of bottleneck.  8GB RAM is recommended.

PSU wouldn't need upgraging for a GTX 1050 ti.

Graphic card and processor will work great together:

Intel Core i5-2400 (Clock speed at 90%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Clock speed at 90%) x1 will produce only 1.16% of bottleneck.

ASUS strix RX570 is 9.5” or 24 cm long. It is almost the same width of standard microATX which is 9.6” or 24.3 cm. Assuming you have an optiplex 3010 MT and assuming Dell motherboard is same width as standard microATX, then it will fit. You want to double check by using ruler to measure your mobo width.  https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-haik6tcjq6/images/stencil/1280x1280/products/184/1088/OPT_3010_MT-3__98903.1560186505.jpg?c=2&imbypass=on
It is easy to upgrade MT psu to 460W. Motherboard uses standard 24 pin ATX connector.
