Crossfire on Optiplex 7010 MT

I have a radeon hd 6970 and i just ordered a hd 6950. I am going to flash it to a 6970 but i was wondering, can i even crossfire with an optiplex 7010 mother board? If so that would be great because i just busted 65$ on the card, bridge and molex to eight pin adaper. i have an i3 3220 and 4 gb of RAM

None of the optiplex boards support SLI or Crossfire.

Older models like Precision T3400 and T3500 do.

The other issue is power.

I would not think so because that is a Business-class machine (not a gaming machine).

So people still CrossFire-X ??? Did they ever ? (just kidding)

Just FYI ... you would only be adding about 50% of the horsepower of the secondary card to the mix.
