PowerEdge 2900 PERC 6/i backplane degraded. Driver out of date?
Hi, I have a PowerEdge 2900 with a PERC 6/i controller. When I open OpenManage > Storage > PERC 6/i integrated it shows warnings for Connector 0 (RAID) and Connector 1 (RAID). Clicking on those shows the Enclosure (Backplane) as Degraded in the Information/Configuration section. Is this because my Firmware/Driver versions are out of date? My virtual disks are reporting all good.

Hi,
Updating the driver and firmware may help. Updating OMSA may also resolve it.

Updating OMSA got rid of my backplane warnings. Thank you!
