Wireless 1390 keeps dropping connection / Have latest drivers

My setup:
Dell D620 Latitude
Win XP w/Service Pack 2
Board - Wireless 1390 Mini-Card Rev 3.6
Chipset BCM4311/2050
Driver version 4.100.15.8 (This is the latest according to other postings on this forum)

The log file in Dell's Wireless Utility says "Disconnecting from current network"
I'm connected to AC so that rules out any power saving settings.

I'm sitting right by the Linksys AP so the signal is fine and other wireless connections in my house never drop connections. Just my lap top.

Suggestions?
Thanks.

I can't say for sure, but check for other wireless devices in the room(s). I had an issue where the baby monitor was causing the connection to drop. You may also want to try changing the wireless channel. If you do that, you may also have the adjusted the channel settings (properties) for the laptop(s).

Aside from the AP everything else was powered off.
Tried changing channel from default of 6 to 7, 8 and 9. No dice.

Also other forums suggest things like:
1. Disable the WZC service
2. Changing settings on the Linksys AP
3. Upgrading driver for both AP and laptop (Did that)
4. Disable some Powersaver settings (Did that and I was connected to AC anyway)

Sitting right by the AP improves performance but doesn't lessen the times Dell's Wireless Configuration Utility disconnects from the current configuration and tries to renegotiate an IP address.

When that happens both ipconfig /all and the config utility blank out all IP addresses like DNS, DHCP and gateway.

As you can tell I am somewhat experienced in installing and configuration but not in the deeper
stuff like registry settings, debugging nor AP logging.

Help!!!

Got it working 10 times better and the only problem now is video streaming.
It's buffers a lot.

Uninstalling Dell's Wireless configuration utility and using WZC exclusively
works fine.

Now I have to work on increasing performance for video streaming.
