Using Wireless and Wired networking on a Dell 5440
Latitude 5440
How can I use the wireless NIC on the laptop for the internet and use a wired connection using a USB NIC? So far I have not found a solution by searching the forum or the internet. The previous laptop is able to do so, but I can't reproduce the ability to use both at the same time. The second NIC is used to connect to internal address on different local networks. I can use both kinds of NIC to connect but only one at a time. Is it possible that their is a registry key that can be changed? Or something else? I have tried settings in the BIOS and in control panels with no luck.

I should add that this in a Windows 11 laptop. I have found the BIOS wireless radio control and disabled. I disabled the "priority and vlan" in control panels. I tried changing the to manual metrics. Any suggestions?

I just found out that this might be governed by group policy.
