Problem with "PCI Simple Communications Controllers" Driver in inspiron n5010

Hi

At first excuse me for my poor english

After installing Win7 Ultimate 32Bit on my inspiron n5010 i installed all drivers and components are working properly but one of the devices have problem because i cant find any drivers for it. that device is " PCI Simple Communications Controllers" and it marked in Device manager with yellow symbol and the Update Driver button in Device manager does not work for this.

How can i find driver for this part of my Laptop?

Thanks

hi,

you can also download it from dell.

N5010 --> chipset --> Inter Driver Management Engine Interface

if you see the version file. you'll see that it supports windows 7 32 bit ultimate too.

saeid1371,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Do you have a modem in the system? If so, it is needing a driver.

Hi,

i have just resolved this problem on my inspiron n5010.

i have installed windows 7 professional 64 bit.

The suitable driver of "PCI Simple Communications Controllers" is the "intel driver management engine interface".

So you'd better search the 32bit version of it in internet.

best regards
