My Dell Laptop is connected to wifi but not getting internet on it !!!!
I have a dell inspiron laptop, and I can connect to any wifi network, and while other computers can get internet through them, I cannot get access. It opens Google homepage at the start... if i try to open any other page, it shows as ERR_TIMED_OUT... Is this a hardware problem or Software? I've had the lappy for over a year and it's always worked perfectly... Thanks!

Hi,
If your system is connecting to multiple different networks then it most likely is a software issue, not a hardware issue. Can you tell us what browser you're using to try to connect? What happens if you try a different browser like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer? Andy difference?
What model of Dell laptop are you using? And which version of Windows?
How long has this internet problem been happening? If it was relatively suddenly, was there any change (software updates, etc.) to the system prior to it happening?
If you can answer these questions we should be able to help you a bit more, but we'll need more information to give you any specific guidelines.
