Missing Network Adapter

I have a Latitude E6410 running Windows 10.  The laptop has an Intel Centrino Advanced N-6200 AGN driver adapter.  However, on random occasions the computer fails to find it and so I am unable to make a wireless connection.  Troubleshooting does not help as the network adapter does not appear in the network dialogue box.

Any suggestions as to what I can do please as it is highly inconvenient to have to lick the laptop to the router with an Ethernet cable in order to access the internet?

Thank you.

You can click the link below for a possible resolution to the wifi not showing up in Windows 10. Unfortunately, Dell does not have any Windows 10 drivers for this system.

Dear Jesse L

Many thanks for taking the time to respond to my query / problem.

I followed the instructions in the link you sent me.  The first of the two commands simply generated an Error message but I went ahead and ran the second command anyway.  After rebooting, the wireless adapter reappeared in the Networking Dialogue Box and is operational once more so thank you very much for that.  I have my doubts that the problem is permanently solved but perhaps this will provide a fix as and when needed.

My thanks again.

Stuart
