error help. please

Ok I am recieving error messages, 1003,1000,29,17,20,256,615,1020,62,63,1517,529,680, and I recieve different ones every day in my event/log viewer in the administrative tools event viewer window. Ok this is after I have already 1.Been given a new hd from dell, 2. I have a new oem windows xp sp2 rom from dell and I have gone over the instalation process with a dell tech. I am extremly mad, I called for help and they want me to pay for help I refuse to pay when these problems have probably been with my system from day one. And how do I know this well when I ordered my dell comp I requested no floppy disk with it later to find it was preconfigured with a floppy disk in it despite not having one on my system. 2. The printer software for my printer ordered at the same time in previous virus scans the files dealing with my printer have a _unknown after the file names for my printer. 3. two weeks or so after having my computer my first hard drive was determined by a dell tech to have failed out. Ok at this point I wanted a refund but was told I could not recieve one, and was assured that a dell tech and a new hard drive would arrive at my house. Ok The tech they sent removed the bad Hd put in the new one and while my windows was loading jumped in his car and left previous to this he did give me brief instructions on how to install the device drivers etc... but I saw this as very unproffesional on his part he should of stayed tell everything was finished and made sure no errors where on my comp. Despite this I am a novice computer user and really had never even heard of an event viewer before to know if problems were occuring with my computer. ok fastforward once again after recentley seeing both my dvd rom drives dissapear I called dell and told them of the error messages and they decided to send me a new hd and a new windows oem dvd rom. ok I installed these and am still getting these errors. so I called once again for help and they said I have to pay why? with a fresh system as in new hd and new operating cd rom after installing these why should there be any problems at all with my computer? and I recieved these parts last night. and right after installing my windows I checked the log viewer and had errors? then after installing my drivers I had further errors? so I decided to come on the www.dell.com to get help and was told that ok I would finally be helped and what I needed to do was 1. restart my computer. 2. tap the f2 key. 3. once at the magical system setup screen to press the caps, num and scroll lock keys and then to hit the alt and E keys at the same time. I should hear a beep and I did then hit the esc key and enter to save the changes and to reboot my computer. This was soupposed to fix all my problems. Well It did nothing i checked the log 4 more times and all the errors remained there, I even repeated the process 3 more times nothing. Ok so finally I just manually cleared the logs from within the event viewer and rebotted my comp only to recieve more and different errors this time. OK I really am mad now, all my windows updates are up to date the 34 or so of them. The dell diagnostics tool says everything is fine. And on top of that the tool that scans my computer on the dell website says everything is ok and up to date. So I really have no idea what is wrong with my comp, I have not installed any other software on my computer and I just think this is horrible dell will not help me but they will send out new hd and software to me does not make sense at all. I have tried to google my problems and look them up on microsofts web site with no help or solutions at all. I even called microsoft and they told me dell is responsible for helping me with this problem. ok but dell tells me I have to pay 100 dollars or some crazy amount, when microsoft charges half of that on their website? I was also led through a debug process in the dos menue evertything was fine so I'm lost someone if you can help please do I bought my comp for around 1300 dollars in 2004 thinking this demension 3000 with the 80gb hd, and the 16x dvd/cd rom drives and pentium 4 processor was going to be a good school/internet computer and the extended dell soupport and the all in one printer was a very good deal at the time boy was i wrong dell from what I have experienced is truley a bad company and does not like to provide help and when they do it is next to impossible to understand the foreign service rep tryin to help you. someone please help me please I beg you. and sorry about my eeee post but after writing a long message like this I was told I did not log in, ok then why was I even allowed to type a message anyways please help me please.

I'm sorry you had trouble with Dell Support, but if you want help here, where everyone is another user like yourself, cut the rant and get to the point about what problem you want help with.  Be as succinct as possible,  right now your message is as un-understandable as the foreign tech support people you are complaining about.

Listen steve, I could care less what you think, either you offer soupport or you don't, help out or don't help out, It is probably past your knowledge as all the brillant dell reps did not know how to fix this problem. Ok I'm telling people about my experiences with dell a horrible company that outsources jobs to India and a company which should not be endorsed by any American person in their right mind who claims to be a patriot. and as I have explained in my previous post the reasons they plainly talk a big game but don't back it up or help out there coustomers, lets be perfectley honest here all this company cares about is money. They hire cheap foreign labor, they charge you doubble what microsoft's pay service charges you for microsoft software soupport, and this is who I spent 1300 dollars with pfff. Never again and I advise no true American to either. steve, just explain why a single software incident at dell is 100 dollars but at microsoft it is half that amount? and why dell reps lie to people every day. Like when I called seeing what a new internal Hd would cost and was told $250.00 dollars for an internal 160gb hd haha that is a rip off, and then was told that no other hd would fit into my computer because the bracket surrounding my current hard drive would not fit any other yeah right. Thats prob why I bought another one same size internal for 50 dollars and it fit perfect. Dell is very good and honest with its clients you are really nieve steve and I feel very sorry for you if you work for this company but not every one is qualified to work for sun microsystems or microsoft, so stick to your web forum soupport job where if you don't know how to fix a problem and are wrong, atleast you have done more than a dell tech would have done for a coustomer.

Alright, find someone else to help you.  I offered, and all you want to do waste my time with your rants.  It's your choice and mine as well.  Sorry, I couldn't help.  Please note that I do not work for Dell, nor do I have any affiliation with the company except that I own 4 Dell computers in my home and operate many more at my place of work.  I've helped thousands of people solve problems with their computers.   It's your loss.  I'll spend my time helping someone that wants the help. Bye.
