Driver Installation Issues - Wifi Driver

Hi

I have been trying to setup a Latitude E6400 laptop after a fresh format/install of Win 7 64bit.

Basically I'm having issues with the Wifi driver mainly, and audio, network and system ones as well although at least the Windows default drivers covers these.

Here is what I have done thus far:

I have downloaded these drivers from Dell using the auto detect feature which seems to correctly figure out the laptop I'm using.

System Drivers as far as I can tell.

Then using a order of installation I found on the Dell websites I did the following:

- Installed System Software (from downloaded file above), however it fails the installation with this log:

Ok so that didnt work, I googled a bit on it and found a post on Dell forums to continue anyway.
So next I installed the Chipset drivers (the file above) this completed successfully. rebooted laptop.
Then I did the Video drivers, again completed successfully, rebooted.
Then I did the Network drivers, this said it installed correctly, rebooted.
Then I did Control Point Manager, this installed correctly, rebooted.
Then I did Audio (the file above), this did not install and it came up with a massage that reads "The Hardware Detected Is Not Supported By This IDT Software Package", audio cut out for a moment but then luckily Windows seemed to install HD Audio drivers automatically itself and all is well I guess.
Then I tried Wifi Drivers (the one above), this didn't install and came up with a error message that reads "This Software Package Cannot Be Installed On Your System"
I then installed Touchpad, Bluetooth and Memory Card Reader drivers, all installed correctly.
So basically the result from all this is that everything seems to be functioning correctly except the Wifi Network, standard ethernet network works fine, so does Audio. But having to use a ethernet cable kind of negates the point of a laptop.
After all this, this is what Device Manager looks like:

Two things not installed correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Install this ControlVault driver which should install the driver for the Broadcom USH:

http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01400368M/26/CV_Drv_Setup_RDYG9_A11_64bit_ZPE.exe

Try installing this driver for the audio:

http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER96848M/3/R273997.exe

Provide the hardware IDs of the network controller so I can check what wireless card variant you have:

Thanks for the Broadcom and Audio driver, those both seemed to work.

I have also located a working Wifi driver myself using the hardware Id's (I was trying this previously and finally found them).

Cheers

Great so that should be your system up and running, if you want to create a new recovery partition from your clean install (assuming Windows is installed to cover the whole drive) you can now install Dell Backup and Recovery:

http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER02909509M/1/Backup-and-Recovery_Application_64M9D_WN32_1.8.1.71_A00.EXE
