Dell Inspiron 14 7420 laptop not connecting to WPA2-PSK wlan but connecting to Open wlan

My Dell Inspiron laptop 14 7420 is not able to connect to WPA2-PSK wlan. But it is able to connect to Open wlans. 

I tried using WPA2 with AES, WPA with AES but nothing seems to work. My friend tried to connect to the same wlan and he was able to so issue is not on the network. Other simulator clients are also able to connect. 

Anyone ever seen something like this before?
