Connecting a network

Okay I don't really know what I'm doing so I'm asking here so I can sound like I know what I'm doing tomorrow. I got a regular modem and I hooked it up to a 8 port router in which I hooked it up to a 48 port hub and hooked up 21 computers. And believe it or not it worked. Also put 5 computers on a internal network I guess you can call it. Now the question is can I hook up a wireless router to this system? can I hook it up to a hub or another port on  the router?
p.s    a cosmical modem will be install, just had to get something running for now

The way you phased your question it is totally unlcear to me what is hooked up to what.  Note that you cannot have 2 routers on the same network because then you will have 2 dhcp servers which will really confuse all computers on the network.  If you want to add a wireless device, either put the wireless router in place of the existing router or put it in access point mode so that it does not act as a dhcp server.
