Cant get IP-adress from my DLINK DWL 2100AP accesspoint
I have a brand new Inspirion 6000 with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG wireless adapter.
My access point is a DLINK DWL-2100AP.
My problem is that my Inspirion cant get an ip address from the DHCP server.
The laptop says that it's connected to my wlan and the access point list the MAC address of the wireless adapter in its client list.
But the laptop can't get an ip address.
I have an another laptop with an DLINK wireless pc card adapter and that works perfectly.
I'm giving up for today now (have spent 5 hours surfing the net for some tips) because its getting late here in Sweden.
Thanks in advance for any tip.

Can you connect to the Internet using a wired connection? My guess iseither have the wrong SSID or WPA key code.

Has cured this one way connection on my own Inspiron and a colleagues Toshiba. Both badged as Intel inside Centrino Mobile Technology.
It should work but I await Dell's and Intel's replies to my concerns that they are supplying faulty software.
