What is EOSS(End of Standard Support )?

I'm using a DELL switch, but I'm confused about product maintenance terminology.

If you click the link below, you will see information about “Product Life Cycle (End of Support and End of Life) Policy for Dell Data Security”

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000128563/end-of-life-end-of-support-policy-for-dell-data-security

Through the link, I understood EOS (end of sale), EOS (end of support), and EOL (end of life).

However, in the link below you can see a new term called EOSS (End of Standard Support)

https://www.dell.com/en-us/lp/networking-warranty

EOSS is not explained separately in the link. Can you tell me what the term is? Is this the same term as EOS in the existing link?

Hello,

please check here:

End of Life Security Support Policy for Converged Infrastructure, Midrange and Enterprise Storage, and Storage Networking Products | Dell US

  • End of Standard Support (EOSS)
The date after which basic maintenance and support services are no longer guaranteed (for example, maintenance, access to new features, technology, or fixes).
  • End of Security Support (EoSecS)
The date after which security updates are no longer guaranteed for a given product.
